The low cost carrier Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, also known as Gol, is a Brazilian airline with its base in Rio de Janeiro. They have three major hubs – Brasília, Salvador da Bahia and São Paulo-Guarulhos. The majority of their operations take place in South America, while they also offer some connections to airports in North America. Like most low cost airlines they are not part of any major global alliance.
